Welcome

First Friday Art Trail

Friday Sept. 2nd in Lubbock, TX

Join us for an evening of music and art as artist Kendra McCartney welcomes us into her Charles Adams Art Studio on September 2nd from 6-9 pm. I will be joined by pianist Devin Collins for an evening of jazz duo music. We have selected original compositions and jazz favorites to share with listeners while we raise funds for art supplies in public schools. Kendra and I will be donating proceeds to this cause and hope you will contribute to the future of art for the youth in the Lubbock area.

Kendra McCartney, Artist

Hi! My name is Kendra McCartney and I am the artist/owner/wizard behind K: MCCARTNEY STUDIO.  I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics from Texas Tech University.  Currently I am a full time art teacher for grades kinder through High School (thankfully I share the different grade levels with a wonderful art teacher).  Teaching art is a blessing in my life and I have grown as an artist and person being able to share my love of art with others.  I spend my summers teaching art camps for kids, traveling with my boyfriend, reading books and of course making art.  When I'm not teaching classes I can be found in my garage studio working, creating environmental art, swimming, dancing, reading, watching Doctor Who, Harry Potter, or anything Disney, cooking up homemade recipes from scratch or enjoying game nights with friends.  For an up to date look at what's going on with me and K: MCCARTNEY STUDIO like my Facebook page and or follow me on Instagram. Thanks for checking out my website!
